Newbie with potential problems!

Yep just been out and tried the process in the link for the second time just to make sure and it doesnt work 

hmmm i reckon its a faulty door module - need to get it scanned for fault codes to confirm

ask nicely on here to see if anybody is close to plug vagcom in if you havnt already got it that is

Approx £80 for the module, possibly more plus fitting on top - about an hour and a half

correct - either get yourself a cheap lead of Ebay or get a fault code scanner for approx £40
