Does anyone have the genuine rear VW blind in their motor????????
Seen one on ebay, BUT I want to know If I have to screw into the roof lining (Aint to keen on going into fabric/plastic)
Want a cheaper way of tinting :nerd:

I have the VW blind in my car.  I think I paid about £30 but it was a while back.  You drill two small holes in the parcel shelf for the blind unit, which are invisible when fitted.  The top is held by two metal clips that hook over the return of the roof lining. No drilling or holes there. When not in use you can easily unhook it and it retracts into the reel. HTH

np, took me about 5 mins to fit, mainly because I checked the alignment 3 times before drilling the small holes in the parcel shelf.  The car is a  Diamond black 3 door, mainly around Horsham, Brighton areas. Cheers

Dunno - your best bet is to jot down both numbers and prices and head down to a local stealer and ask them.

My inexpensive rear blind. If adjusted properly, the creases can be removed. Bought of eBay for £6.

Start with this

Install this way

End result

I've had the VW blind on mine from virtually new:

But I recently also swapped the rear glass for the black tint privacy glass - and it looks
