I bought a Piper X filter

but a proper induction kit, was in Halfords for £20 .

Question is, do I put it on? or leave it boxed and punt it on eBay for a tidy profit. I'm intrigued to see what the car would sound like though!

Smooth the box and put the panel in

Yeah it's the top one. Tried fitting it yesterday and it's a pile of poo.Ideally I'd need to order a silicon joiner to connect the induction to the MAF as the cone filter kept falling off. The instructions are pretty useless too.
It's on ebay now so I'll probably get the one that goes behind the bumper (for the summer) and remove it in the winter when it gets wet.

There's not enough room for the cone to sit higher up, though, IIRC.
