Have I been riped off???

Rite guys when I was on my way home my car started juddering and running like a bag of sh!t my dad came out with my uncle who workes in a car garage and he said 1 of my coils had gone down so i took it to a garage where they said they could only buy and replace the whole set.
They charged me
£208.00 for the coil packes
£33.00 for the new spark plugs
and while it was there the ingition trigger/boster broke costing me another £97.75
What do you guys think??

why could they only replace all the coils?? makes no sense!!

does sound like you've had your pants pulled down i'm afraid!

Hmm Yes in a word - could have done it yourself for under £100 TBH  :shocked:

1.8 gti yeh i think i have.Think a trip down there tomoz wont go a miss.
