if your running aftermarket alloys do they have the spigot rings fitted? the wheel must sit perfect on the hub lip

golf hubs are hubcentric, if it dont sit perfect then you will get vibrating.

if you have all that then look at worn ball joints

Check ur track rod ends. This is an MOT failure point so depends when ur last one was.

Or could even be diveshaft CV joints - this usually only occurs when cornering, coz they knock.

it might sound daft but are your wheel nuts tight, and do they hold the wheels tight against the hub?
It sounds stupid but i changed my wheels, i was convinced they were done up and started to get a vibration above 70. Everything was checked and checked again until i found the threads in my hubs were rusty and the new bolts had not seated the wheel correctly even though everything was tight.

mine does the same so it must have something to do with the CV's and spiggot rings.
