I've seen a couple Mk6 Golfs on the road now and I'm still not sure if I like them.  They appear to have DRLs.  The sidelights have been on but no rear lights on.  Not sure if I like this or not.

Seen loads about already, heck my local cop shop has 2 ! I think they're the GT's because they're 2.0 TDI's... from the front they look mean.

Looks wise, Standard MK5 vs Standard MK6, the MK6 beats the MK5 hands down.
Passat B5.5 2.3 V5 170, with all the extras.

I still prefer my ED30 MK5 to any MK6.
I do like the front of the MK6, but hate the back.
Maybe the GTI will look nicer 'in the flesh'......

golfs are meant to be social chameleons so I wouldn't expect a standard one to look 'nice'.  The best golfs are the ones that you don't even notice.

GTis and R32s etc are completely different.

im really liking the gti now and i think i wont be able to resist buying one at launch, got to be 5 door for me now tho for family reasons. Whats putting me off tho is the missis driving about in it and knocking it about  :sad:
