rns510 help

i want to upgrade my 500 to a rns510, however ive got a factory fit ipod armrest and phone kit.
firstly will the phone and ipod work with the rns510.
secondly is it a straight plug and play
also if i was going to go aftermarket same questions
help please

Yes and yes 

oh and aftermarket, ipod will not work but you should get a compatible cable, they wont be plug and play though.

I believe Hurdy has a Kenwood system which is cheaper then the RNS510, and looks the dogs danglies IMO. He gets full compatibility with his iPod, although you may need to check with him about the Bluetooth compatibility. Cant see why it would be a problem though......
