Just got a tyre quote...

Wanted tyres for my TT comps, ask my local tyre place i always use, very competitive for some 195/45/17's Good Eagle F1's

They wanted £108 a corner, when black cirlces wanted £88... But they said they can only get them from Goodyear as no supplier had them on the shelf.

So they are going to get a quote on possibly 205/40/17...

I hate tyres!!

Crikey for that price you are aswel buying a set of wheels and tyres. Not looking forward to changing mine, either same size

Might go for 205/40/17 as they are far cheaper, Toyo Proxes T1-R in that size are £58. But they dont do eagle f1's in that size which is a bit gay.

i just got 4 x Yokohama S Drive in 195 -45- 16 delivered to my door for 174 quid.... now thats a good deal!

rims are in the refurbers as we speak...

doooooon't get the Toyo's...sh!te tyre, with fook all grip in the wet...Eagle F1;s in that size are fantastic on a mk3...still formidable grip in the wet as well
