Yeah, I tried the battery disconnected, but no joy.
HOWEVER ... I disconnected the MAF, started it up and let it idle (albeit badly). Clicked the ign on and waited for the ECU relays to click, nothing, switch the ign off and on again, nothing, 5 more clicks later and the relays click and the fuel pump primes.
I reconnected the MAF and watched the IACV move - so now it was operational. I started it up and sure as anything, the car idled and ran perfect. I turned it off again, clicked the ign on - waited for the relays to click, then off, then repeat 4 more times and the engine management light has reset.
I remember reading somewhere that for certain ECU errors that they can be reset by X many successful ign primes.
All peachy now, car starts, runs and idles perfecto. I've got mad Peugeot fixing skillz
