Well got the KO3s on today with help from a good mate of mine. All I can say is thanks fook I didn't try it without a 4 poster!
A few problems encountered. The new exhaust system was fitted a little too well as we had to remove the downpipe/cat. Took about an hour of 'persuading' as the middle join was tighter than superman's pants after a boil wash!
Once this was removed, we also dropped the drifeshaft to allow room to play. All the hoses off the top of the engine had to come off too.
Coolant was dropped also and replaced at the end.
Lot's of little niggly bits that held it all up really mainly access to certain parts with tools

Once the turbo was out it was fairly straight forward, just reversing the process.
Then came the forge TIP....

nightmare to fit even with 2 of us and the car up in the air! getting past the metal pipe was tight to say the least!
Only problem i rolled off with at the end of the day was the exhaust needs tweaking as it's knocking slightly, which hopefully i'll sort tomorrow!
Started at 9.30, car was running again at 4.30 so a full day at it really, although not going for it.
All in all, everythings cool, running fine, no major issues and cost me £80 to fit it all up.
Bring on the rolling road day!
Cheers, Sam
