 ;D

As the topic says!

Location: Oxford multimap link
Reason for location: Nice and central in the country
Time: 7pm - 10pm on a week night
Date: 29th of August

Probably somewhere where there's a BK/McD's for fast food and a place that's well lit so we can have a natter and get together for some cool photos.

No point in all slagging eachother off on here. Lets all meet up and show off our pride and joys!

Who's with me? (defients list)

That's the spirit!

If having a week day meet isn't viable for most we can always make it saturday/sunday night?

Get your name down if you're interested so we can make this happen and hopefully make it a regular thing to promote the site and the club as a whole! :)

i know its a pain in the ar$e for u diz,  but being that no rice is based in guildford (close to oxford),  wouldnt we be better off going round the other side of the m25, especially if were gonna make it regular.   im thinking tea at jvs  ;) :D

or even more north of the m25. it opens it up to alot more people.  8)

just a thought for the future anyways  ;)

Not wishing to start any arguments or get into any protraced debates, but there are (in my opinion) two points here:

1) Whilst Oxford is not central to the UK (unlike the Midlands) it is central to where the majority of the sites members are who are likely to turn up. We've had it in the past where other locations have been tried, and no-one (and I do mean no-one!) turns up, and the meet gets cancelled.

2) As Dizzie is the one who has started the topic, he is more than entitled to name the location. If people want a meet in their own area, start a thread and generate some interest, don't hijack somebody else's meet!!!!

We don't have a 'meet coordinator' on the site, so its up to everyone to instigate interest for their own regional meets if they want one. On that basis, I don't think that it is fair to start arguing on the location that someone else proposes. You either attend or you don't. If you don't, on the grounds that its too far, organise a meet near you!
