All of a sudden I go to do the drivers window up and hear an awful grating noise as the window goes up and then the window won't go all the way to the top, goes back down again and back up to the same spot.... Took the door card off and the plastic clip at the end of the cable that goes into the motor housing has crumbled...
The fact the window goes up and down to a certain point, am I right in thinking that the regulator mechinism cause of the cable ends crumbled the windows is not going all the way up and that because the motor is still bringing it up to the certain point the motor should be ok and just replace the mechinism ??
Need to get assignment in before next thursday so didnt want to be fookin round with the car this weekend.... Looks like thats out the window !! Excuse the pun !!
