What is the downpipe mod anyways?

And any other mods available....besides all the usual smoothed box, r32 intake etc?

I got 14.6 BHP from FULL milltek and the DSG intake both fitted at the same time.

De cat and down pipe - removes cat not legal and can cause running probs - the lambda sensor can be coded out tho.

Sports cat + down pipe = high flow cat makes the full milltek - from the turboback and fully legal.

if you have two lamba senors then you will need the sensor coded out,i think the 2 lambas came in on 2001 model mine has 1 lamba which is a 1999 so no need to coded it out.

i fitted a decat and downpipe a wk ago now and what a difference it has made cnt wait to get it on the rolls on the 28th

the downpipe comes off the manifold that joins onto the cat.

thats is where you take the cat out and put the decat in.

just cost me 90 quid for the bits.

fitted a decat downpipe bout 2 weeks ago and i have the 2 lamda sensors does bring up an emissions light but runs perfect and quicker, been told you get bout 15bhp from the decat an a bit more if your doing the rest of the exhaust with it.  worth it plus most people no someone who can get them through an MOT with the decat.
