I HAVE TRUELY BROKEN MY DUB VIRGINITY
« on: 11 March 2009, 19:59 »
I have now officially become a true mk4 dubber, i drove out my drive this morning, what a nice morning, ill put my windows down, i then realised not as warm as i thought, put the windows up, kccchhhhhh, sh!t , my window will only go half way up

so i drove to work in the pissing cold

I knew one day this would happen, as common problem, just not today, and just not when i have no money

come one people take the pain with me, let me know if this has happened to you! it will take the pain away

Hasn't happened to me.

How much are the new clips as I've got to take the door card off at some point to replace something so may just bung a new clip on there. So it doesn't happen to me!

Sympathy mate, been there done it, got the T shirt. I think it's about £35 for the repair kit, not a hard job, takes about an hour

Sh*t mate. that happened to me to the passanger window. but mile the window fell all the way inside the door. had to replace the hall thing cos the litle sh*ty plastic thing that holds the windows is not strong enough. what was vw thinking when they made these. dident they test this things before
