i run K&N induction kit, really improved how the car run, it was very lumpy for some reason on the standard air box

tbh iv always run the K&N induction kits on all my cars, cant fault them, so i keep running them on a "if it aint broke dont fix it" kind of thing

ive installed the piper x panel on mine just now and took it for a quick spin and tbh cant say ive noticed a difference, it was only a real quick spin down the road. Says on the box after 500 miles they start working properly. Makes more noise though

Hmm, can't find anywhere that does the BMC CDA for a 16v :( any ideas?

Might just get an uprated pannel filter to start with and get a proper one in the future.

Want the BMC one for looks more than anything :embarassed:

I'm running a BMC CDA in my 16V, you just need the larger size (150?!) for the valvers, they only come in <1600cc & >1600cc :afro:

88, would this one be ok? Says its for a 1.8 16v :undecided:

Yep, if it's for engines over 1600cc it's the right one, so being sold suitable for the 1.8 it'll go on the 2.0 too!

It's a little tricky without a reducer - bought new you should get one, otherwise just use sikaflex to attach to the air pipe. Jubilee clip the hose that comes with it although I got some better stuff off of ebay that fitted the intake vents I have. The sensor that you can see in the top left in my pic was attached by drilling a hole & sikaflexing it in place.

Hope that helps! :afro:
