New Member Mk3 Gti 16 valve

Hi

Just bought my first Golf Gti, a 1994 Mk3 2.0 16v.

It's got a few miles on the clock and wants a bit of work but that was the idea with buying it, but will probably be on here begging for help/idea's alot lol.

Had a very varied car history

Peugot 205 1.4
Ford Escort 1.8td
Vauxhall Corsa 1.0
Vauxhall Vectra 1.8
Vauxhall Astra GTE Convertible
Fiat Punto 1.2
Ford Escort XR3i Convertible
Volkswagon Vento 2.0
Renault Laguna 1.9TD

Golf SOLD. Replaced with a Yamaha Raptor 660 quad and loving it. This will be replaced in August with a Raptor 700. Sold the quad now got a Vectra GSI 2.5 V6 and its the nuts.

Brands Hatch massive. MEMBERSHIP ACCEPTED!

Just had a good look round the car cos got it booked in for a service on monday and found this :



Had a word with the bloke who's doing the service and he's gonna do this at the same time and done me a good price  :smiley:

That is some bad rust under the seals man :(
