help gear linkage nightmare

hi fitted new gear linkage bush kit today went well and i loved cleaning and making the 18 year old bits like new BUT!!!!!!!!!
1. the kit didnt come with the golf ball looking bit all thats left on mine is a white bit of plastic wish i think must b the inside of the golf ball bit
2. reverse is now first so whats the best way of sorting that out

ps where do i get the golf ball bit?

your missing the relay shaft bush. £15 from GSF from the top of my head.

well you need to have all the bushes in good contition including the ball at the bottom of the gear lever, then you need to have the gears aligned properly.

once youve got the relay shaft ball depending on where you are ill show you .im also in west sussex
