Hi,

OK, will the brake upgrade fit on my standard rim/tyre set up if I buy the following:

1) VW/Audi 312mm front Brake calipers and carriers
2) VW/AUDI TT Mintex Front Brake Discs & Pads

Do I need anything else?

Thanks,

CS

you only need the carriers, and not the callipers as you're already on the 288mm

what rims do you have?

the upgrade fits fine behind monty IIs, not sure about monty Is though

Thanks - I'm not a painter nor do I have the patience/time - Lazy I know, but I'd rather pay a bit extra for someone else to do it :)

Gawd i thought i was lazy, me and my mate did all 4 of mine in 6 hours, thats with 2 trips to maccy d's and him gettin arrested for attempted murder (mistaken identity its all good now).

I even left them on, used a high temp white spray then Etech brake/engine laquer.

I think it looks fine when you look at em. (just dont look behind them, i didnt do that far

Did mates skybird in about 10 hours but that included 4 trips to maccy d's, droppin it on the floor twice, chattin up exactly 3.568 birds and consuming 8litres of irn bru

Its not a big job.

Just the MOT today put an advisory on the front pads/disks so now is a good time to sort it out I thought!
