Hello to all.

I felt I ought to become a member given the amount of time that I have been spending recently at the site without contributing anything.  It seems like a really friendly and knowledgeable place, so I am looking forward to getting a little more involved, but first a little about me:

I am an unemployed 21yr old graduate (have law degree, will travel!) living in central Scotland.  My first car was a VW Polo 1.9 diesel which was slow and noisy, but great as it was completely bulletproof!  I replaced the Polo with a mk4 Golf GT TDI which I absolutely loved, however, I have now sold it to my brother as my hankering for a mk2 Golf GTI is too much.
Not a VW, but I also had a 1995 Ford Fiesta for a couple of months last summer, which a school friend and I drove out to Mongolia.  The poor car took one HELL of a beating yet (almost) never missed a beat quite remarkably.

  • Just because I won't - doesn't mean I can't.
