Engine cover with refreshed lettering

My G/F's Dad very kindly (& painstakingly) painted the 20v Turbo letters for me.  (Forgot to take a before picture, though, but sure I've got an old one somewhere).



After 8) (Might need another with it zoomed out a bit :D):-

Gone but still keeping a close eye on it...

Mk4 golf 1.8t AUM Hybrid K03s. Custom Mapped by R-tech to 260bhp. CR hybrid turbo Audi TT injectors / fuel pump, Forge tip,THS FMIC,Carbonio CAI, Full milltek turbo back, N249 bypass, Fully poly bushed, Weitec coils. Genuine R32 front bumper and Genuine R-line rear, Genuine Porsche twists, Anniversary black interior.

I think to start with, he used a silver enamel paint, but he wasn't happy with the finish, LOL, so he then used 'silver leaf' & polished it with a heat resistant varnish.

Just hope I don't burn it off!! :D

It's silver leaf, so does look very shiny!  It's not the best picture, TBH, but I'm really pleased with the results, myself. :)
