afternoon folks ive just been given this mk 3 16v golf but for the life of me i cant get the thing to idle at all it starts a treat revs really well but just dies if you take your foot off of the throttle , i only work on old cars normally pre 60 and have never seen so much wiring under a bonnet in all my life , as you can tell im very old and realise theres some very clever people out there who may be able to point me in the right direction . thanks kato
