Hi to the forum,

Just brought a std 08 Black 5 door GTi from a main VW dealer. Comes with std 17" wheels, cloth interior etc etc. Not into the modding thing, just needed a 5 door car to carry my 4 month old daughter around in. Seems to tick all the boxes and will be collecting it in a couple of weeks. Great site with some excellent info. I may go for 18" Monza's if i can find some cheap OEM ones on fleabay or some Reps. I'll search the forums for that in due course. Cant wait to pick it up. Cheers

Cheers, I chose the GTi as i think it's got the best of both worlds, practical yet great for a blast on some twistys 
It only came into the dealer a day or so before I went to see it. Work and other commitments mean that I'm unable to collect earlier. It gives the dealer enough time to fully service it (@10000 miles) and clean it.
