How wide are standard alloys?
« on: 07 March 2009, 19:02 »
I have the standard alloys on my golf with 195/50/15 Eagle F1 tyres. How wide are the wheels?

6.5? 7? 7.5?

Trying to get an idea of what i have already to see what i want to get on my comps.

So i have 195 50 on 6.5's and they look neat, no bulge or stretch.

So getting the same tyre in 195/45/17 on 7.5s should be a little stretch and tuck tight under the arch.

Cant find pics of 195/45/17 on 7.5's. Only can find 2 pics of 40's on 7.5 and the pics are crap on tyrestretch.com

Any help?
