Prada vs Eagle F1
« on: 07 March 2009, 18:45 »
Im looking to get tyres for my TT comps. Atm i have always used Goodyear Eagle F1's on my standard gti wheels, i can get these in 195/45/17 for about £85 a tyre for the tt comps.

Pradas are available in 205/40/17 for about £60 a tyre for the tt comps.

Can only get poo nankang in 195/40/17....

TT comps are 7.5 inch wide i believe. They will be on a mk3 obvs.

F1's seem very good wet and dry. Never owned pradas?

Opionions and help?

Cheers

Yokohama Prada is the other.

Problem is also the sizes offered are limited, and i want it to be tight stretch to get low.

Hmm well if you're gonna be stretching tyres then they're not going to work as well as they should, but you already know that :)

I'd still recommend the F1s if you can get them in the size you want!

You will struggle to stretch eagle f1's as they have a reinforced sidewall
