How do you remove the rear VW badge, as i have seen on here some one has painted the black plastic underneath it red (to macth their car) and i am just wondering how you take the badge off and separate it to be painted??

p.s no one at the "ultimate Dubbers this weekend???

thanks

all you need to do is get a hair dryer on the badge heat it up a bit until you can pull the badge off, i bought a sharan badge which is smaller then seperated the badge from the backing, went to halford and got some colour match paint sprayed the back red and sprayed the vw badge satin black once that was done and dry stuck it back together and whacked it on the car

Hi mate,

The badge is just stuck on with sticky foam stuff. Most people colour code the background of the sharan rear badge which is a little smaller and doesn't have the rubbery thing around it.

Ultimate dubs is too far from me   weather is pants anyhow!!

Look forward to seeing some pictures other take though
