Favour/Question to ask

I've been having a few starting/stalling issues and have a favour/question to ask

Just been out testing a few bits and have just seen something i have never noticed before. The side indicators seem to flash when i get out the car and shut the door.
(The is not when i press the activation button on my fob, before some of you ask)

Has anyone else noticed this, or could you have a look to see if yours does it and this is normal?? pretty please
Few things to add:
-I have a vw logic 900 alarm/immobilisor
-I had unlocked the car as normal with the fob and started her
-Just swithed off and got out as normal and closed the door

will be something to do with the aftermarket alarm, my sisters polo's indicators flash when the door is open..  its got some cheapy alarm on it which is why its doing it...

Interesting. I'm thinking the immobiliser has something to do with my issue.

It was funny before. I was out, tested the coil and went for a run. Came in and thought for whatever reason to see what would happen if i turned lights and blower on, ran ok untill i turned them off when it died on me. Odd

also i should just add.

When the car died on me, i took the key out, got out and shut the door - which is when i first nted the indicator. Locked the car and went in.
went back out 5 minutes later, Unlocked the car and got in. For some reason both the alarm/immobiliser lights came on.
