Trim part number help anyone? :)

Hi All,

I'm trying to find out the part number for a missing piece of trim on my 3 door mk4 4motion.  Basically it's a strip of black rubber/plastic on the roof.  If you follow the top of the door line back there is a strip of trim that goes in the gap between the roof and the side panel above the rear passenger windows.  If it was a 5 door then this bit would be where the top of the rear doors are if you see what I mean!  The missing one is the passenger side in case they are different.

I blame the snow - it froze on the roof and I reckon this trim was poking out a bit and got pulled out when the frozen snow went flying off the back of the car somewhere!

Does anyone know the part number for the bit I'm after?  Any idea if the dealers are going to try to charge me an arm and a leg for it?

got 1J6 853 705 R B41 which is a roof channel for a 2 door in satin black but i think thats the main one

the small one is

1J6 853 709 F

My EKTA tells me its approx £20

Cheers Rhyso - how do I know if we're talking about main one/small one?  Now you're confusing me   

Just trying to avoid having to do 2 trips to the stealers!

well the picture shows the roof channel in two pieces - i've given you the part numbers for both the latter being the smaller piece of the two

Weird - it looks longer than the small bit and seems to join in a different place.  I'll have a closer look at the one on the other side to see if that helps.
