If they really are off a 75 then the stud pattern will be the correct 5x100. Rover centre bores are 1mm smaller than vw though.. you might be able to hammer them on anyway with such a small difference but ideally you'd want an engineering place to turn that 1mm out of the wheels. The standard offset for 75 wheels are a fair bit higher than you want, so you might need a 5 or 10mm spacer to prevent them rubbing on the shocks (longer wheel bolts if going larger than 5mm with spacers!) but then there is no width advertised on them.. so the more you push them out with spacers the more chance you have of having arch contact problems.
All in all.. probably not worth bothering with when there are LOADS of wheels around with the right fitment.
