I have to agree with Vix on quite a few points there.
I have owned a lot of very nice cars and motorbikes form Integras to BMWs and even a Celica GT4 which was one of the best handling and quickest cars I've owned, standard it pushed out over 220BHP and, it didnt stay standard for long. I've owned hign performance track bikes converted to road use, and just recently bought a 6 month old X-trail. Yet despite all this, I get more looks and have more fun driving my Cab. It's not the quickest or best handling thing I've owned, but it is certainly my favourite.
It looks different, and is a fairly rare sight nowadays. Without trying to sound disrespectful about you Cupra, as I'm sure it is a great car, they are too common, and look like every other eurobox. We all have our individuality and I just like to extend it to my car.
One day we might look back and say "Those Cupras are great classics, real old skool." But I can say that now about mine, and it feels good to own a bit of motoring history, something that changed the way we think of small cars . After all, the GTI is just that - motoring history
