i dont give a fark on whats legal or not, but one thing, why do people wanna look like a jerry, we are fookin english, be proud of that is what i say, and our plates look a hell of alot better than that daft jerry font...


right off back to watch time team now :grin:

i thought about  it matey but i like the font i have on mine, its a little thinner than standard plus i have my web address on the bottom, i dunno if i can have thet on the pressed ones???

I don't know, you might be able to get them to put it on if you ring them up? It's a small thing but sets the car off better than the acrylic ones.

what new regs would that be??? the pressed ones are uk font,correct size characters, correct spacing, reflective, and more importantly have the bsau145d mark on them making them perfectly legal for uk even if r plod doesnt think they are  :rolleyes:

Whatever the new regs are they will be sure to make changes to the plate design to match :)

Have been reading reports in the magazines that the mot's will be changing to include a number plate test which includes type face and reflective qualitys and also that they are fixed to the car in the correct place, going to coming into force June / July.

Well the placement of the plate is responsibility of the owner, but the actually spacing, type face and reflective qualities are all legal with these bad boys. :) as hobbiniho said, it's got the BS number on, that's the proof of the pudding :)
