nah sorry rich i dont believe u. I bet u made a wooden stand for it. Covered it in vw interior cloth and had an metal plate engraved lmao

After last nights post, and a sift through a few webpages i have decided to buy this battery: http://www.carbatteryshop.co.uk/mb-GOLF-1.8-Gti-1.8T-Gti-98-I670.html   -   Apparently they are highly recommended.

I got a varta, but its blue. Does the job, don't really know what makes a battery good tbh! Cost me £20 so i convinced myself it was a good one  :wink:

As far as i know the original battery is a Varta - I think that VW put in a Varta instead of the Bosch battery -

You must get all the parts cheaper - and it shows - that pic of your car is an absolute beauty!!
