Thanks chaps.
Yeah Ivor I soaked it a few times with WD40 but it wouldnt budge. I took the easy option in the end after 2 hours spent wrapping my knuckles and drove to a local garage and got them to loosen it ! They managed it with a huge breaker bar in the end, I only had axle stands at home so couldnt get the leverage it seems.
Service all done now...new pollen/fuel/air/oil filters, synta-gold oil, new spark plugs and cleaned throttle body...the car certainly feels a bit better for it.
As the weather was nice I also managed to give it a good wash/clean and get the interior panels out (only broke one sun visor clip) and drop the roof lining to sort out the sunroof leak once and for all. It turned out to be a split in the front pipe on the drivers side sunroof drain so replaced that, jubilee clipped all 4 and flushed out the bleed nipples so hopefully I wont get a wet footwell again.
Didn't get time to fit my new steering wheel from Wazzzer...probably a good thing as I'm a bit worried about the airbag exploding in my face or me not doing the nut up tight enough and it coming of in my hand mid corner, LOL.
Next I want to turn my attention to the suspension...cant put my finger on it but something definatly doesn't feel right to me. It all looked ok when I had it in the air though ?
Once that's sorted I'm thinking about an R-Tech remap
