To be honest it is a tw@t of a job to do, when i used to take front pipes off to the turbo we used to warm the nuts and threds slightly but this is hard to do on some cars due to lake of space, as alreay said they, been a garage you would expect them to have experience of this and pre warn you. Possibly best option is to say that to them and try and just go 50/50 and pay for 2 hrs labour.

Just think if you had attempted it yourself on your back on the drive and they had snapped!!! The problem is now theres to fix.

 i have to agree with the last three comments i know what a job it is i suppose i was fortunate mine all came off ok but its harsh expecting jonny to have to cough up for their labour charge when they have caused the problem and admitted to it also in the first instance from what jonny has told me he easnt forwarned and now is minus his car needless to say we are both going over to sort his problem out tomorrow and IT WILL BE SORTED! thanks for all your comments and advice im sure jonny will be posting up what happens over the weekend to let you all know how it goes
