What on earth are these people buying who are selling their Mk5 GTI's?
I can't think of a better car in these impoverished times.

I sold my 08 Plate ED30 this week & pick up an 07 plate RS4 Avant on Monday..............I miss the golf, but in 48hrs or so I'll be just as happy!

Just as happy ! How about more than happy.  RS4 is a beast, I take you have taken it out for a test drive?

Sorry I thought you had one!
I would love to get in a RS4 - even as a passenger!

Well, luckily, I have both a GTI and an RS4 - and they are both awesome in their own rights.  The GTI is more nimble than the RS4, but I reckon the RS4 has far better on the limit grip than the GTI.
