wen i fitted my powerflow catback, i did notice it was a bit quicker, but still slow!
wait for insurance on a gti to go down. is it your first year of driving? cause after a year, your insurance for a mk3 gti 8v/16v and mk2 gti 8v will be around £1500 i think. at least it was for me.

i had a 1.8 SE MK3 for nearly 2 years basicly since i passed my test, the first year it was £1550 then with a years no claims it went down to £699. Over half from the first year on a group 10 insurance car. recently got a 8v GTi which is group 14 and when i rang the insurance company it was only another £39.11 for the rest of the policy(2 and a half months). this was third party fire and theft but when i get 2 years no claims looking at £900 fully comp with admiral, modifactions declaired and im only 20!
