8v suspension question??????

I put some VR6 top mounts on my Rallye when I changed the suspension, I done this because Darren at G-Werks recommended this for the Rallye. Am I right to think that I will be able to use VR6 top mounts on my 8v? I have just bought a second hand set of springs and dampners and will be fitting these on Monday. Any advise would be appreciated.

They will fit.
I don't think it's a straight swap in the same way g60 mounts are, you need a few more mk3 suspension components iirc.

I believe you would need to change the top spring plate as well.

i got mk3 top mounts on mine,  tho not sure whitch bits needed just got all bits needed off some mk3 struts

Yes. G60 mounts will also fit and are stronger than the standard mounts.
