Aero Wiper Blades
« on: 26 February 2009, 13:06 »
hi all,

just after some advice about some new wiper blades,

was looking at getting a set of aero's but thought i had to swap out a big chunk/all of
the wiper components........

had a quick look on ebay for a kit to get it done and found:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=330288221696&Category=45645

do i need to convert everything to get aero blades or are these any good?

thanks

Phil

......or after having a look around i'd probably get these if they're any good
as they're from a make i like and trust

Theose should fit on existing arms.

VW also sell them for £23.

Be wary of ebay ones. i got a cheap set off there thinking I could save a couple of quid, and when they came they were for a left hand drive car because the 'spoiler lip' bit was on the bottom, not the top. I ended up taking them apart and swapping them over myself to get them to 'work' properly (aerodynamically). Havent had any issues since but it as a bit of a faff to swap them over.

Cant go wrong with the £23 dealership ones as Tim said.
