Vr6 Splitters
« on: 25 February 2009, 17:44 »
I recently spoke to Roman at the goingfast.com company and he is willing to do a deal on the splitters if we have enough interest

http://us-shop.goingfast.com/product_info.php?info=p3657_MK3-Euro-VR6-Deep-Bumper-Spoiler-Lip.html

will be less than £13.90 i know that for a fact, but postage could bring it upto 27

might reduce postage cost though aswell if theres enough interest

anyone up for it?

Sorry but the one I had off them wouldn't stay clipped in place, and when it did, it lasted all of about 5 minutes, it shattered into about 50 pieces. Would never buy one again, 25 quid down the drain, which I borrowed off my dad in the first place

Mine bought 3 years ago is still going strong! Looking at all the forums it seems people have different views about how well these are made.
It could be worthing asking if they use different suppliers and tell them of the problems people have had and see if theres a good reason (different suppliers etc) The group buy is a good idea (maybe just not these splitters?)

Anyone had one from rennsport? they are the same price as the goingfast ones though so i'd imagine that they are of a 'brittle' nature. Also, where can i get my hands on a 'proper' one? i.e original.

stick to genuine vr splitters, i got one on now. i have abused the F**K out of it!!!!! even crashed with it (although it was exactly a proper crash). its a crack on it, but it never comes off, through the abuse. However in extremes cases it has unclipped in the middle - but the others i have had would have shattered to bits!

LL ;)

Drove into a kerb on Monday (wasn't looking where I was going) and it's still fine
