another scotland newbie
« on: 25 February 2009, 00:07 »
hello

my current golf isnt a gti but it will be when im finished

currently in posession of a mk2 golf driver 1.6 iv had for about a year now (prob more)
mods include a gti cam, gti exhaust manifold and down pipe (with slightly smoothed out ports), 2" OMP mild steel exhaust from down pipe, 60mm(ish) lowerin kit (dont ask what kind as i dont know but they feel good) and an array of different wheels.
its not the quickest but its got 96bhp so its not the slowest either

my plan is to have it runnin a Mk3 golf gti ABF (16v) lump before E38.

dont really care what it looks like, as long as it runs and is road worthy for E38 im happy

i'll get some pics of how it looked last year when it was on the road up soon
iv hardly done anything to it as iv stripped out a mk3 for all the goodies and need to get rid of the shell before i can use the space again.

hope you are a nice bunch who can give me some pointers here and there and i'll try give you lot some help if ever needed.
