Seat Belt Reciever

Just rang the scrap yard for a seat belt receiver on a 3 door T reg

and he started saying stuff like its connected to the airbag and that, i explained mine was just on the end of an arm and he said yeah its all hidden inder the seat. is this right ?

mine doesnt have a cover on it anymore and theres no electronics on it

as in the front seat??

you have to remove the seat itself to remove the arm - i looked at swapping mine over when i changed my seats but it didn't seem to want to come off 

there didn't appear to be any electrical connections going into the receiver though

yeah, the front. problem with mine is, its set too far back so when you pull the seat up it gets trapped behind the seat when you pull it back down and its smashed the black cover back off.

the bolt holding it on is massive aswell

I've got the same problem aswell mate, ive been meaning to take the seat out but havent got the chance
