The oil cap should have the elevated section running parallel to the ribs on the air box when fully tightened.

btw Is that a real Carbonio as I thought the carbonio intakes all came with a carbonio sticker on them??

Well thats what I thought . . .  I just assumed that mine didnt have the sticker put on it . . . ?

Im my half asleep state this morning I forgot to check the oil cap, I've set a reminder on my phone for this evening.

....No-one has reported being able to spot any physical differences but the Carbonio CF rams have their sticker and the replicas on fleeBay don't have the sticker.

Really the same! Surely does exactly the same job as it's exactly the same shape and configuration.

I wonder what the deal is with Carbonio themselves who surely patented their design, or is this Carbonspeed product offered with Carbonio's blessing?

They even include the same Pipercross panel filter.

im guessing they are made in the same factry, but the ones with the carbonio sticker are twice the price  :grin: (i have the carbonio)

Yep, having just looked at my invoice I have a Carbon speed TFSI Intake, as Robin said, surley just does the same job.
