any specific brand or will any be ok might sound like a bit of a silly question  :grin:

cool yeah my mate tom said i will need some as when he does the water pump said most will go on the floor lol said i would need 5 ltrs is that right? im clueless with these things :tongue:

Don't use the good stuff if you gonna spill loads it will cost you a fortune !!!

I think he was reffering to the antifreeze that would already be in the car and whne he removes the water oump most will just spill everywhere , any other recommendations for anti freeze as if im looking at 5 ltrs from teh stealers thats a good £30

You might want to buy some distilled water, too.  (Or even pre-mixed coolant instead??).  I've just recently flushed mine out & used the pre-mixed stuff from Halfords - It didn't state G12 anywhere on the bottle, but it did say approved by VW, though.
