my d/v position ???????

hi here is a quick picture of my engine i have noticed that my d/v is not in the same place as the forge one etc and iam not sure if its the rite type d/v .................
i didnt put this on i got the car with this how you see it lol
now drivin a golf 1.9 tdi 90bhp ... time to rack up them miles!! as my daily

yeah about as noisey as my old series 2 rs turbo
now drivin a golf 1.9 tdi 90bhp ... time to rack up them miles!! as my daily

that's a strange place, not cheap either as that extra piece would have had to be welded on wouldnt it?

it looks like where the d/v conects there is a bit already comeing out of the pipe there , no sign of weldin etc
aslo there is a blanker in the old one i think
now drivin a golf 1.9 tdi 90bhp ... time to rack up them miles!! as my daily

Thats why its been moved to avoid the sensors - and lights on the dash.

Get rid and get forge 007p on there!!

looks like its in a funny place more to the left than normal
Gone but still keeping a close eye on it...

from looking at the picture im saying that maybe its been threaded into the pipe then if that is the case then once unfastened a plug with the right pitch of thread could be threaded into the boss on the pipework which effectively blanks off the opening
