Hi guys,
Just wondered what id be looking at for a standard polish to make my old mk3 look bit better.
I know prices obviously vary, im just after getting it a bit of a spruce, so nothing to expensive, more value for money.
Thanks

Depends on what you want done. Is it literally just some correctional work or is it a full detail?
The later can cost anywhere from £100-300 depending on the level and quality of service.
Correctional work takes a lot of time and effort (from personal experience, I'd say it takes as much effort to do a full detail without the polishing as it does to do just polishing). Again I'd say £50-200 depending on the amount of correction required. But you'd still need to prep the paintwork adequately prior to the correctional work.

Depends what you are after really!
If you wanted a protection detail, that process involves paint cleansing and some detailers will use a cleanser with micro abrasives and some have fillers too and it will make a difference to paint quality. Cleanser and pad choice. Pro's will charge between £100 and £200 I'd say for that service.
Paint correction detailing where you specifically target blemishes and faults with the paint the job becomes tougher and therefore more expensive. From my point of view I'd charge £250 for that, but thats based upon a complete job. Some charge by the hour and so on. Rates seem to be from £20 to £75 per hour.
