dont be sucked in by the listing pal, never ever ger fiber glass, i mean it mr! if ur going to get a after market one mae sure its made from abs or arb plastic, this is more durable and wont crack like fiber glass and it gives a proper paint finish as car bumpers are made from same stuff.
also when getting a r32 front bump make sure its got the proper vw clips on for the front grill inserts so u can go to the stealers n buy some 2 slot in. u will also need arch extensions front eaither side as its a wider fit u can also get them from the vw stealers not to expensive, i wanted 2 r32 front bump but i was more chew then i wanted so i got a anni front lip instead hope this helps.

i disagree massively, i have seen an aftermarket bumper in plastic, and it looks no different to mine, infact mine looks better because it

was easier to trim perfectly to the car.

Aslong as you get a decent bumper, whether its fibre glass or plastic, just make sure you go to a decent paint shop!!

But as far as fibre glass is concerned they are fine

no nothing like that at all, to be honest mate i have never heard of even doing that, aslong as you go to a decent bodyshop, leave it with

them for a day to spray, then leave the car with them for a day to fit, theyll do a good job!!

the after market arch extensions are only £17 or something when i last looke there just little clips, i cudn be bothered with mess on maybe u can, anni splitters just clip on. but in regards to fiber glass get it mate, but u were prewarned. they can take impact, when driving at high speeds and the chassis flexes the bumper does to they crack so easy. but im not here to argue im just giving my advise as others. i done firber glass b4 and snapped the front twice, the paint shop i go to wont touch it and he is known al other the world. people from usa send him stuff to sort out, hes got a cossie in his garage now sent from ireland strippin full thing out and full resparay n tha. some of these bumpers are good copys but im sticking by my guns and saying avoid fiber glass

dont worry matey i aint arguing, but to crack a fibre glass bumper at high speeds you would have to be going about 600mph
