MPG after R-Tech Remap
« on: 16 February 2009, 18:59 »
Now then sure u all heard me moaning about sh!t mpg and running 18'' rims

Anyway today i did a 340mile round trip average speed  between 75-80mph  and i got 53mpg!!!! thats with the 18s on so i think the r tech remap does greatly improve the mpg prior to this it was around 46-47mpg!!!!!

Once i service it and change the bits it shud improve a bit more but i think there is a real difference as before even at a constant 70mph i was only getting around  47 ata  push  and now its back up to around 53mpg....

still be putting ma 15's on a for a bit though anyway so it shud go even higher!

The remap you had on there before was fuel dependent to make the power,  About 20% block off extra fuel request on the drivers wish from 45 to 100% load with out any added rail pressure didnt help the mpg.  now you looking at a 4% to 12% added fuel on a gradual plane, raised rail pressure, higher torque limiters, more boost to keep the smoke away and the power up..lol  If you nail it the mpg will go right down...
