Air Bag Light

Just after a bit of advice, removed my interior at the weekend to clean and install wiring under carpets and since putting the front seats back in the Air Bag Light is on. Know the front seats have air bags but how do i get te light to go out, that beeping is anoying me now lol. Tryed disconecting the battary for 10min but didnt work.

Gone but still keeping a close eye on it...

Should ALWAYS disconnect battery FIRST when messing with airbag devices/connections. ;)

1)  They can kill/hurt you badly if you're too close
2)  You'll avoid any lights coming up on the dash!! :D

If you're local to Solihull/Redditch, I can probably turn the light off for you. :)

Failing that, maybe buy a car reader (U280, if I remember correctly) off of eBay for about £15 + P&P.  (Very handy tool to have for diagnosing problems & clearing fault codes etc.). :afro:

not always true, when i was doing the conversion i took the steering wheel/airbag off the battery wasnt even in the engine bay and the airbag light still came on when i connect the battery, just needed resetting on mine

Fair enough about the dash light, but Point 1 makes a very good case for disconnecting the battery! :D  Wouldn't want anything going off next to my face, LOL!!
