afraid you'll ring round other dealers i reckon

He said its because people get a part number order it from someone else and then blame them if something goes wrong??
Golf SOLD. Replaced with a Yamaha Raptor 660 quad and loving it. This will be replaced in August with a Raptor 700. Sold the quad now got a Vectra GSI 2.5 V6 and its the nuts.

I'm not sure which part he's trying to sell you, but i just phoned them, gave him the part number

£180.16 + VAT with a 2 day lead time.

no worries, if they were £50 i'd have got one for myself and then a couple to sell at a profit on uk-mkivs (because they rip the arse out of the FIS clusters) / ebay :evil:

I'd expect to pay atleast £100 for one second hard, they normally go for around £150 on ebay, the problem is if they have been bonded they are a real pain to remove clean, so you often see people selling the whole boot + spoiler.

You also need to consider the added cost to have the paint removed from a second hand one, postage and how well packed it's going to be, at which point you're probably better off getting one brand new for just over £200 (unless you can find one closer to £100).
