search for mikesters threads as he's just done his...but you need the bonnet, headlights and grille (and possibly the headlight wiring connectors..depending on years)
you can fit the vento bumper too for the full conversion or use your golf bumper which isn't as deep or wide (but fits fine)

I paid £110 for the following:

Vento headlights
Vento Bonnet
Vento Grille
Bumper Iron
Slam Panel

(note you dont need the slam panel, but i wanted a new rad fan, and the bumper iron on mine has a small bend on one of the holes to clip in the grille, so got that too)

I then spend £50 on a venom debadged vento grille

I then spend a further £20 on headlight wiring loom, to convert old vento lights to my new loom.

Everything is just bolt onto the golf, and you can keep your standard bumper from the golf, rahter than a vento, as the vento vr6 splitters are like rocking horse doo doo to find.

You will also then need to get all the parts sprayed, and the wings sprayed in to match. Ive been advised at around £500 to spray the lot for a good job, although i did also want a bumper smoothed and sprayed for that price.

Where are you located, as i know of a place that has a supply of ventos.

Hope that helps

Mike

thanks every one , i have been busy this evening and bought a red 1.8 vento with mint body work for £50 because it has a broken gearbox lol .and i bought a vr6 front and rear golf bumper and tailgate with spoiler . the wings on my golf are dented very very badly , so i can hopefully use the vento ones .mines a 1.4 match aswell because im 19 and cant afford to run a big engined vw lol so my headlights are old loom and the vento is old style loom .
