R-tech = Over the moon
« on: 10 February 2009, 13:14 »
Thought id give a little write up

So here it goes - Get a call from Ben at about 8.30, him and Nick are on the M42 in a bit of traffic but will be here in about 2 hours

at around 11 'Knock, Knock' and its Ben at my front door, go out side to say hi to Nick and get this show started!

Get the bonnet open for Nick and Ben to have a nose around

Get the coffee's on and have a good chat, Ben starts asking me about my plans etc mention the wheels i got sat in my room and he starts laughing 'that were ages ago!' I know mate I know!

On with the health check, Nick and Ben both get to work, Clean out the throttle body, check the plugs etc, clean the 007p, I run upstairs and get my yellow spring and pop that in as well,

'Its hard work this Re-map game aye Ben'

And then add the Map

After which me and Ben go for a test drive, Ben has Vag-com hooked up to check everything is in order, have to potter around some back roads first let the car warm up  and then hit the dual carraige way! Fist strech is single lane and a fair bit of traffic so couldnt really open her up that much but must admit even driving around the normal roads its amazing how much more responsive it is look down at the speedo

anyway single lane traffic ends  over the RAB and time to really see whats what!

In 2nd, 3,000 rpm Drop the hammer and F*** me

Into 3rd (now when i was talking to Nick about the RR he was saying how to get the best reading, being in 3rd etc etc) Pulls, and Pulls, Turbo is whissling away, still more booost pulling

into 4th, again pulls and pulls, 5th

im laughing my as off cant get rid of this smile,

go to the RAB and do  the return strech, guy a bit up my backside, POW ....... now he isnt!!!!

Honestly im gob smacked at what a difference these guys can make to your car, as others have said it now feels like a GTI!!!

Nick and Ben what can I say but Thank you and your Top Blokes!!!

Hello m8!

I love the photos, keep the good work up!! But I should have had a shave tho, so I looked clean and smart, but you got the best of my cave man look.  I can only shave every 7 days else my face ends up looking like a babies back side with nappy rash, plus I was saving the clean look for a magazine shoot..  I have got to get Ben a new bloody hat..that one he has on is sad..very sad.

I am glad you are happy with the whole package we gave you, the remap, inspection, diagnostics, service and banta.  The remap will continue to grow on you over the next few weeks and you will contiune to enjoy it. unless you get board and start asking about a ko4 turbo upgrade.

Thanks again for the feedback and review of the mornings events.
Nick & Ben
